We buy great businesses from the people who built them, learn what they know, invest in their teams, and hold them for good.
A bigger company swallows it, drops your name, and the people who trusted you are the ones who pay for it.
New owners change everything that made it work, and you watch it become something you don't recognize.
Everything you know is in your head, and the buyer across the table has no plan to learn it before you're gone.
If any of that sounds familiar, we should talk.

In 1986 my parents left New York City for California to start a new life. My dad had started an x-ray service business, and when we moved, he let it go. I don't think he ever knew he could have sold it. There was nothing to pass down. He spent the next twenty years working for other people, and around 2005 his last employer let him go, right before his pension.
Then it happened to me. I spent sixteen years in enterprise sales and closed more than $400 million in deals. I was walked out three weeks before Christmas, weeks after landing the biggest deal of my career. Two generations, same lesson: the people who build something are often the first ones treated as disposable.
You spent a lifetime building yours. Whoever buys it shouldn't treat it, or the people who built it with you, as disposable. That's why my wife and I started Albano Holdings. We learn what you built, keep your name on the door, look after your people, and hold it for good.
"We have three little girls. We want them to learn that when someone trusts you with what they built, you take care of it, and of the people in it."Jaime Albano
And we've done this before. I've bought and run six apartment properties across three states, 605 units in all. I started my career as a systems engineer, so I begin by learning how the work actually gets done.
From the first conversation to the day you hand over the keys, here's what working with us looks like.
Nobody finds out you're thinking about this. Not your team, not your customers.
There's no single right way to value a business. We make our best honest effort at a number that's fair to you and to us, and we explain how we got there. If it changes, it's because the numbers turned out different from what we were shown.
Our equity and lending relationships are in place before we make an offer, so you're not left waiting to find out if the deal can close.
You teach us what only you know, take the time you need, and walk away knowing it won't fall apart.
What you built won't get flipped to the next buyer while you're still around to watch it happen.
The name you spent decades earning stays the name over the door. We build on it, we don't bury it.
You teach us what only you know, on your schedule, and then you're actually free, not stuck on call for years.
Nobody gets cut just because we bought the place. The people who hold it together get a stake in what comes next.
Stay close as long as you want, come by, know the team, weigh in. Or walk away clean. Your call, not ours.
These are guidelines, not hard rules. If you're close, it's still worth a call.
If we're not the right buyer, we'll tell you on the first call, not three months in.
Have a seller who cares who buys, not just how much? Send it our way.
A year from now, your name is still on the door. Your team is running it, and sharing in what it earns. Your phone isn't ringing with questions only you can answer. And when someone asks what happened to your business, you're proud of the answer.
Tell us a little about your business. JP or Jaime will get back to you personally within two business days, and nobody else will know you reached out.
